ALWAYS ENSURE YOUR ANTI RATTLE BOLT or ANTI RATTLE CLAMP IS USED DURING OPERATION

Installation Key Points

**Important Instructions for Using Loctite on Bolts and Nuts:**

To ensure the stability and safety of your bike rack, it’s crucial to properly secure all bolts and nuts. Please follow these steps carefully when assembling your vertical bike rack:

1. **Use Loctite on All Bolts and Nuts:**
We recommend applying a small amount of Loctite thread-locking adhesive (blue) to every bolt and nut during assembly. This prevents the hardware from loosening over time due to vibrations or regular use.

2. **Apply Loctite Sparingly:**
Only a small amount of Loctite is needed. Apply a single drop of the adhesive to the threads of the bolt before tightening it. Be careful not to over-apply.

3. **Allow Time to Cure:**
After assembling the bike rack, give the adhesive time to cure. For optimal strength, allow the Loctite to set for at least 24 hours before using the bike rack.

4. **Use the Right Loctite:**
We recommend using **blue Loctite (medium strength)** for this application. Blue Loctite secures the bolts and nuts while still allowing for future disassembly if needed. **Do not use red Loctite**, as it is permanent and requires heat for removal.

5. **Regularly Check Tightness:**
Even with Loctite, we suggest periodically checking the bolts and nuts to ensure they remain secure over time, especially after the first few uses.

By following these instructions, you'll ensure the long-term durability and safety of your bike rack.
